Bitterroot Valley Following on White Horses Book 1 edition by Jack Bonham Judy Bonham Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Only on the sixth chapter and I'm already hooked. I highly recommend buying and reading!
I love how the author incorporates the story in the Bitterroot Valley.
I was born and raised in the Bitterroot, so, I am a bit sensitive on how the area is talked about, even in fiction. The story line is moving, and reminds me of values that are seldom displayed in today's world. Nicely done. I will recommend this book to anyone, and be proud to do it.
A friend lent me "Bitterroot Valley by Jack and Judy" to read and I couldn't be more pleased with picking up the book and taking a glance. The way the narrator was telling his story to his granddaughter Mariah was very captivating and made me wish I could flip the pages faster. I recommend this book, especially to people from the Bitterrroot Valley.
This book is surprising in so many ways. I am not a religious person, but the spirituality displayed in this book is thoughtful and comforting. I was brought back to the Old West even though it hp[pens in the 50's. John Wilson Barnes overcomes his difficulties with a mysterious cowboy that you will grow to love. Thanks Jack and Judy for combining to make such a wonderful book.
I was scrolling through when I came across this book. Just by reading the summary I took a chance and purchased it. I've never been much of a reader but this is one of few books I decided to give a try. From the beginning to end it kept me interested. Because I have ADHD it's hard for me to read for a long period of time. But this book was different for me. It's easy to comprehend and kept me focused.
The two authors did an excellent job creating a story that is very captivating. It will have you ready to flip the next page even before you finish the one your own. I am looking forward to the 2nd book to come out, wish I had it already.
This story is written in a way that lets you get into a gentle rhythm and be comfortable. It has a little bit of everything -- just like an old timer would tell it.
This western-flavored story succeeds at presenting an original, unpredictable adventure told through the eyes of an interesting and likable narrator. The efficient pacing and the author's adept use of language serves the plot well, making the novel an entertaining and compelling read.
